West Edge is one of the most high-profile projects cropping up on the Westside along the Expo Line., the project consists of four levels of 600 apartment units, 9 story office building, 4 story under ground parking and shopping plaza totaling gross 1 million square feet of space.

Dr.Mehdizadeh performed gravity and lateral design for concrete portion of this highly complex mega project including unusual stepped PT podium slab, post-tension cantilevered office tower slabs, transfer beams and discontinued shearwalls and column elements needed to be specified due to the complex architectural intent of maximizing the rentable space.
